Source text - Serbian Prema Keltreideru i Kohlu (1980), koji su analizirali više od 240.000 porođaja, incidencija porođaja sa ranim prsnućem plodovih ovojaka je 34% (1). Ugroženost majke i novorođenčeta nakon ranog prsnuća plodovih membrana i produžene latentne faze porođaja je značajno veća, pre svega zbog porasta učestalosti ascedentne infekcije, hipoksije ploda i operativno završenih porođaja (2, 3, 4). Stepen ugroženosti je proporcionalan vremenu od prsnuća plodovih ovojaka do porođaja (4, 5, 6, 7). Nakon prsnuća plodovih membrana u 80-90% porošaja do regularnih kontrakcija dolazi u toku 24 h (4). Taj period je veoma dug i većina opstretičara i neonatologa se zalaže za što raniju indukciju porođaja u terminu (5, 6, 7).
Translation - English According to Kaltreider and Kohl (1980), who analyzed more than 240.000 deliveries, the incidence of delivery with premature rupture of fetal membranes is 34% (1). Vulnerability of mother and newborn after the premature rupture of fetal membranes and extended latent phase of delivery is considerably increased, mainly because of the increase in the occurrence of ascendant infection, fetal hypoxia and surgically ended delivery (2, 3, 4). The level of the vulnerability is proportional to the period of time between the rupture of fetal membranes and delivery (4, 5, 6, 7). After the rupture of fetal membranes the regular labor contractions occur in the first 24 hours (4) in 80-90% of deliveries. It is a very long period and majority of obstetricians and neonatologists advocate the induction of delivery in term as early as possible.
