Happy to see so many of us joining!

We will be meeting at Safra 18, at 20:00 on Friday, May 15.
C/Ample 18
08002 (Gothic Quarter)

It is a family-owned Catalan restaurant. The dinner menus are 17.50 EUR, which includes a starter, a main meal, a dessert and a drink. The menu changes every day, but I've left an example of it below.

Meeting fellow Barcelona-based translators! Mar 18, 2015

Hello everyone!
I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow Barcelona-based translators. Once we have a basic headcount, I will find somewhere to get some tapas and drinks where we can meet and discuss translating, business, life and leisure!
This is a great way to network and meet the translators in your city, so we don't feel so alone behind our computers!

Thank you for organising this, Maeva!
If we decide to meet during lunch hours, could we maybe do it on a Saturday?
If it's on a Friday, I most likely won't be able to make it during the day. Otherwise Friday evening is ok for me.

Where are the other Barcelona based translators? Apr 9, 2015

It's April and only 7 of us have signed up so far.
There must be more Proz translators based in 'our' area! Is there a way to get their attention?
I must admit that I stumbled on this event by chance too. Would a reminder in a discussion forum do perhaps? Or are there other, standard ways?
I still assume it will be on Friday May 15. If it's on Sat, or Sun, I can't be because of another event taking place that weekend.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the interest in this powwow. I guess we are a small amount, and I was looking for a place that will offer a good group menu otherwise we can just get tapas. I see there is a mix between wanting lunch or evening. I was thinking dinner, but if lunch on Saturday is better for everyone else I am happy with that too.

I will only be able to assist on Friday I'm afraid. Sat and Sun are fully booked with other activities. I would prefer lunch time but might be able to skip another event.

For me Friday lunch is close to impossible due to my work schedule, dinner or Saturday lunch are preferable.

1) If I go to the event, is it necessary to have the set menu?
2) Can I bring someone (who is not a proz member)?
