Let me know what would be of interest to you. Any other suggestions or wishes more than welcome. Some update: 1. Venue I agree that a place where we could relatively freely talk is very important. It is, however, rather difficult to find, especially free of charge. Any suggestions? I'm talking to Oxford Uni Club about meeting at their venue at Mansfield Road. I think it is a good place for talking and having a drink but they don't offer food on weekends. Maybe we should meet for a presentation at one place and move somewhere else afterwards? What do you think? Should I try somewhere else? 2. Topics. I could present TRADOS and cover the following: - what Trados is - what Trados isn't - advantages of Trados - disadvantages of Trados - how it works - supported programs - additional functions MEMOQ: - general presentation of the program - things I like and other things in the software HANDLING GRAPHIC FILES, INCLUDING PDF's - difficulties with graphic formats - using ABBYY FineReader Let me know if you are coming, what topic would be interesting to you, if any, and what are your preferences regarding the venue (food / food not required). I will post detailed info regarding directions when the venue is selected. Let me just add that it is really easy to get to Oxford from London (bus from downtown every 20-30 minutes).
