As the theme indicates, this Powwow will focus on everyday questions any freelancer may encounter.
It's about networking, effective marketing, building up a client base and even financial management.
All attendees wishing to have their ProZ ID verified please bring your photo ID (e.g. ID card, passport, etc.) and your ProZ number (the number at the end of your profile URL address).

The Powwow time is scheduled at 13:00 - 15:00, but it's only a suggested time. Since this is an informal meet-up, everyone may choose their own convenient arrival time during the meet-up time (i.e. I will be there waiting for you as early as 13:00). Previous Powwows showed that some attendees may arrive early but it took about an hour for all attendees to arrive. Of course you may also stay longer if you like.

Service Charges: 50 Yuan/Person for tea and snacks 服务费：每人五十元，包括茶及简单茶点
Since April is a hot month for hotels, they require us to give them detailed number of attendees in advance to make sure enough seats are reserved. Please come to the Powwow page (http://www.proz.com/powwow/2353) to express whether you will come or not (Yes/No). Thank you!

With the help of one of my friends in Beijing, the tea house is reserved! I'll be there at 1 PM, doing some pre-powwow preparations and waiting for you all! If you have not confirmed attendance, please do so in the final week as it'll help me a lot.

The manager at the Hutongren Culture Hotel just suggested to me that since the weather is getting hotter each day, it is in our interest to use one of their other tea houses. Current location is not very well ventilated, while the new venue provides cooler and fresher air and is located just 15-minute walk away north from current location. There are no changes for decor, expenses and services. I apologize for the last-minute venue change, but it's their kind advice.... See more
