Hi Victoria and Gwenllian (and everyone else that I hope joins us on the 31st May),
My idea is to meet for lunch at one of the places in the Old Brewery at St. Mary Street because it's near the bus/train station and that will hopefully make it easier for people coming from outside of Cardiff.
If I remember well, there is a Tapas bar, an Italian restaurant (Bella Italia), Nando's and a pub where they hopefully serve food. Any suggestions?

Hi Trini. La Tasca in the Brewery Quarter is very good - I go there quite often (not sure what a native Spaniard would think of it, but I reckon it's pretty authentic!).

Hi everyone. As the number of people interested in attending is growing, I think it would be better to book a table at the chosen restaurant (La Tasca?) because it might be very busy at lunchtime on a Saturday.
I would suggest booking a table for 1 pm. Once there, we can allow half an hour for late-comers but after that, eating will oficially start!

I suggest the "Menú Valenciano" (the £14.95 one) but I'll go with the majority.
We also have to pay a £5 deposit per person which I'm happy on everybody's behalf but I need to be 100% sure that the number is correct, otherwise we will lose that money.
Right now, I have counted 12 people: that is the 11 people who have confirmed their attendance here plus Susanna Garcia's plus one. There are 3 people who have not confirmed yet, so it would good if they could let me know today whether they will be able to come along.

Hi Trini,
I'm with you on this. I've been there with a party before, we had the first menu and we all had to stop off at the chippy on the way home as it included 1 chicken wing per person, 1 slice of chorizo, etc. But as you say, if the majority would rather do that, I don't mind.
