What a wonderful idea!! Several years ago I had this wonderful opportunity to travel in Ethiopia for more than one month. It was the trip of my life. I love this country. The country of scenic and cultural beauty. Surely I would love to go there again.
Wish I could go too! I've met a few Ethiopians and they are charming and beautiful people. Will you introduce yourself by saying "Hi I am HarryB" or "Hi. I AmHariC"?
well, I still remember few words in Amharic, e.g. letenachen (cheers), bunna (coffee), bira (beer). I hope Addis can confirm that I'm not mistaken, because I'm very proud of "my Amharic"

I tried to learn a little Amharic, but I could not even get through with the syllabary. The transliteration into English is another complication, and when I look at the sentence structures and expressions, I guess I should try to learn it from small children...)
