How can I remove/hide the Spanish>English KudoZ questions from my home page? The number of questions posted in this language pair every day is too high and I simply don't really want to see these.

TIA for your help.

Scroll down to the bottom of the homepage and click "Change the order of homepage items", then hide the "Latest KudoZ questions" (or go to your profile > Settings tab > Site Settings).

wouldn't that hide all my Kudoz? I only want to hide one language pair.

Not possible? Sep 6, 2013

Oh yes, you are right. I think I misunderstood you there. Sorry!

As far as I can see although there are several options to customize your view of KudoZ (one particular language pair, all of your working pairs, all of your interest pairs) there doesn't seem to be the option to hide one particular pair and show all the others.

It might be worth checking if this has ever been suggested as a site improvement and if not, suggest it.

Hello Diana,

As Thomas notices, there is actually no option to hide KudoZ questions in a specific language pair from the home page. However, if the language pair you are referring to is not a working language pair, but an interest one, this is what you can do:

Hello Diana,

As Thomas notices, there is actually no option to hide KudoZ questions in a specific language pair from the home page. However, if the language pair you are referring to is not a working language pair, but an interest one, this is what you can do:

1. Set the language pair as an interest language pair from your profile. You can do so by clicking on the small pencil next to the language pair here: http://www.proz.com/settings/languages#pairs (don't forget to click on "Save and update profile" at the bottom of the page to save your changes).

2. Go to the KudoZ questions page, http://www.proz.com/kudoz/ , and set your search parameters so that only questions in your working languages show ("My working languages" option). Click on "View questions (and save settings)".

Questions shown on the home page will depend on these search parameters. So, by selecting to search for KudoZ questions in your working languages only, questions in your new interest pair would not show.

Please let me know if you need any help with this.

Kind regards,

Lucia

Thank you for the workaround, but that is not what I need at the moment. But it might be worth considering my suggestion as a site improvement.
