Hi, I'm having tremendous problems. I have finished a PDF translation using Trados Studio 2011, now I want to save the target file. It refuses, and gives an error message saying: "Cannot find central directory"

How can I save the Source and Traget files in PDF formats?

Regards,

Nigel.

You cannot. You can save the translation as a Word file only. Than you can print the Word file as a PDF.

A.

Another possibility, is to open the PDF again using "Open Document", select your TM, run the pre-translate batch task and try and save the file again from here.

If that still doesn't help, and if you can share the details, you can email me your fully translated sdlxliff and the original pdf and I'll be happy to take a look.

Paul

Thank you for your assistance May 31, 2013

Hi Paul,

I did what you suggested, and sent the resulting files to my client. I'll see what they say. What they really wanted was a file directly from TRADOS in PDF format, is that possible?

When I get their feedback, I will get back to you.

Regards,

Nigel.
