Hello Karina, Would you mind providing me with a few more details? What word(s) are you searching? What search parameters are you selecting? What browser type and version are you using? This will help me to look into this further. Thanks! Lucia | | | | You should be able to find the term now | Feb 28, 2013 |
Dear Kim, Thanks for bringing this to my attention. You should be able to find the term using the term search tool now. Please let me know if you need anything else. Best regards, Alejandro | | | Make Proz remember the settings | Mar 11, 2013 |
Hi Guys, I have noticed that while using this function i need to shift to the new search each time i enter Proz. That is a time waster. Is there any way i can use the New Search as standard option so i don't have to select it each time i need to search for a word? Possible cache issue | Mar 11, 2013 |
Hello Enrico, What you describe sounds like a cache issue because, currently, whenever anyone visits the "Term search" page, they should be shown the new Term search by default (with the option of going back to the old version). I suggest you try overriding, or removing, your cache while on the Term search page and then search again. Make sure you select the option "Search and save settings" when doing so. Hello again, Enrico. I just checked with developers and they informed me that the old version of the Term search is still the default one (my apologies for the misunderstanding). For the new version to be saved as a preference, you simply need to confirm that cookies are enabled in your browser when clicking on "Try the new ProZ.com term search". Please try this out and let me know how that works. Again, my apologies. Lucia | | | | The question was asked under English to German | Mar 18, 2013 |
Dear Kim, The question you link was asked under English to German so, in order to find it with a search under German to English, you must check the search option "Also search reverse language pair". Hope this explains! Please let me know if you have any question. Best regards, Alejandro | |

A filter for personal glossaries? | Mar 29, 2013 |
I'd like to know if there is any support from colleagues for a way to filter out personal glossaries when doing a KudoZ term search. I can imagine there's no problem in most language pairs, but in German English it has become a problem. I use the glossary all the time when doing my translations and like to do my searches as quickly as possible. Dear Kim, You can choose to filter personal glossaries from term search results by clicking on "Advanced options" and unchecking the box that says "Personal glossaries" in the "Resources to search" section. Hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions. Best regards, Maria | | | A filter for personal glossaries | Apr 2, 2013 |
Yes, thank you. I also see that it's possible to "separate results by resource" | | | Frank Jensen Spain Local time: 04:53 Member English to Danish + ... Collection of list of non-found search terms - dictionary | Apr 4, 2013 |

In these cases it would be great if the platform automatically harvested the non-found search term and perhaps made a separate list that would be available for later purposes. Kudos points could be awarded for adding translations of such terms and gradually we can build a better dictionary/lookup function... Any thoughts on this?
