Swedish term or phrase: Utfallande
Bilden ska vara utfallande i det konvexa området.

This should (I believe) be a situation where the picture runs until the very edge of the page and there are no margins. Any proper term?

bleed
Explanation:
What you're describing almost sounds like the "bleed" - except that the bleed goes a bit over the edge of the paper to allow for accurate cutting. Does that help you at all?

In the printing world I don't think it exists as a verb/adjective - except as a result of paper cuts :-). Why don't you retain it as a noun and rephrase: e.g. "The image (or illustration/picture) bleed must be inside the convex area/space". Good luck!
