expert in / student of comparative literature Explanation: When I was studying for my MA in Scandinavian Translation, part of the course was called Comparative Literature, and I think that is a better all-round term than just plain 'literature'. However, 'vetare' is always a problemin in English. Anyway, that's my suggstion.
