'Calorie trap' does seem to exist, but what is meant is the kind of calories that sneak in with supposedly low-calorie healthy foods...

the sunflower seeds and dressing in the salad, the sugar and cream in 'calorie-free' coffee, the things that upset the balance when you think you are making the right choice.

I am going to close this and move on (and say thanks). Actaully I was looking for a different answer, it was used in the text I had as makeing a workplace more efficient.
But as I got this feedback, I told them that this was s too odd way of expressing it, though I did that with politness.
