Occurs in 2 places so far. I know that Gullberg gives 'relative strength' as a meaning, but it sounds really strange in the first sentence I'm going to quote:
...har x bevisning i denna fråga fokuserats på författarorganisationernas ansträngningar att få en ändring till stånd, bl.a. vad gäller möjligheten för förattaren att säga upp förlagsavtal, samt på de ojämna **styrkeförhållanden** som X menar rätt och alltjämt råder mellan parterna på förlagsavtalsområdet.

Second: Handelsbruket får betydelse även om det helt ellr delvis är en följd av ojämna **styrkeförhållanden** mellan parterna på förlagsavtalsmarknaden.

Explanation:
I wonder if you can use this?

The Scandinavian 'förhållande' is sometimes useful, but in this case it seems to carry very little meaning.

I would be strongly tempted simply to write 'the unequal strength of the parties' in the second sentence.

The inequality... in the strength of the parties ... or something like that.
