I know what it is - but not in English. A kind of hamburger I suppose. Any ideas?

Minced meat (burger) patties
Explanation:
Yes, a bit long-winded, but still the most descriptive term so far.

Köttfärsbiff is made of minced meat from more than one animal. The shape is generally flat and round. Very similar to (but generally juicier than) burger patties, with the exception that they are served without a bun.

köttfärsbiff
beef hamburger

Explanation:
Yes, you could say that, köttfärs" is ground beef. To prepare the "biff" you add breadcrumbs, egg, peppar, salt and oignon and shape into patties

neutral  Madeleine MacRae Klintebo: "beef" and "biff" are not translation equivalants. EN beef is a type of meat, SV biff refers to the shape.

-> Did you actually read my answer?? Of course "biff" isn't beef, "biff" refers to the shape of the patties, I wrote that "köfffärs" is grounded beef, not that "biff" means "beef"
