manage over several years Explanation: Obviously not an exact translation, but I think you'll have to settle for rewriting the sentence. Not sure if it helps, but as an illustration of the "flerårs" prefix, Gullberg suggests "budgeting over two or more years" for "flerårsbudgetering". My hunch is a native speaker might opt for something like 'long term perspective water management' and then adding "over two or more years" somewhere else in a sentence as a specification. ("Vattenhushållning" would perhaps be better translated as "water (resource) management" than as "water housekeeping".) |
