allmän linje is a two-year course that you take in these special schools called Folkhögskolor - often for people who dropped out of high school/secondary education, but later changed their minds and want to finish off their education. This is why it says 'läst in', which (literally) means re-read. I know this because it's what I did. There is no way to translate Folkhögskola (literally People's High School) without going into long clarifications and explanations, so I'd just keep it as 'studied to XXX level', because these are the grades you finish off the 'allmän linje' with. If you need to know more, just type 'folkhögskola' in Google and you get an idea.
