You can use it in Danish as well, to my knowledge. Otherwise maybe 'praeget' ? if it's an imprint on a watch as your example suggests.

Depending on context I suppose you could 'explain', rather than use 'stiliseret', something like "et forenklet billede af uren i baggrunde" or such
