length of the conduit to allow for slack in splice vaults and access vaults Explanation: I am basing this answer as much on what makes sense in the context as the actual wording. "cámara de registro" is particularly mysterious, but I wonder if it reflects a retranslation from a language were cámara retains the meaning of chamber--pull box? vault? I'm suggesting splice vault (also known as a splice chamber) because of its etymological ties to cámara. "Cable slack requirements. A. Throughout the cable plant, pull and store excess cable slack at designated intervals. These intervals will occur at each pull box, splice box, hub, and each TMC or TOC. The following lengths of slack cable are minimums"www.michiganits.com/assets/michiganits/documents/ipo_SP Fib... "The excess cable is laid out neatly in a figure-eight pattern (approximately 20 feet in length) on the ground at the second vault. The pulling equipment is then moved to the access vault of the next section of conduit. The line is threaded or blown back through the conduit and re-attached to the cable. The figure-eight of cable is then pulled through this second section of conduit. This process is continued from access vault to access vault until the complete section of cable is installed" www.insigniaenvironmental.com/ATT/PDF/Appendices/Ap-A_Biolo... "The (CDCA) is to be used between the fiber optic trunk line and controller at lengths as shown on the plans, with the required slack or 20 feet to 25 feet in each splice vault and pull box, as well as the 20 feet slack neatly coiled in the controller cabinet." www.rtcsouthernnevada.com/mpo/streets/files/specifications/... |
