To be fair, I see from a Google search that "disk mirroring" is more common than "drive mirroring" . So it seems if one refers to the hard drive, then "hard drive mirroring" is more common, but if one simply refers to the mirorring of disks (hard or optical, I guess), then "disk mirroring" is the more common term.

agree  Maria Kisic: Even though Cecilia pointed out the obvious, that you cannot mirror the drive (unidad) but the disk, nowadays in the field, these terms are used indistinctly

  -> Thanks. English usage is not always logical or consistent, is it? E.g., no one really talks about "drive mirroring" but rather "disk mirroring" yet when it comes to mirroring the HD, then it's more commonly "hard drive mirroring". Flakey!
