Spanish term or phrase: eduucador presidencial
Cuban news broadcast (the last one for now...):

"Firma la denuncia Rafael Parrillas Sevillano diputado municipal Partido Pro Derechos Humanos de Cuba en Cifuentes. Divulga, licenciado Jorge Bocanegra Rodríguez educador presidencial Partido Pro Derechos Humanos de Cuba en Villa Clara."

What´s an educador presidencial?

presidential educator
Explanation:
Hazel...Your text is fraught with undertones..this is what is going on here..You know there are no formal "political parties" in Cuba except the CP, right? Here, the dissidents are pushing the envelope in fact..I don't know the details but they are calling themselves the Human Rights Party of Cuba..probably are screwed over and messed about with by the secret police or whomever but since the outside monitors [Human rights watch] and company are probably keeping close tabs on this, this "party" can do a lot of good by pushing for human rights. Within that scope, they have someone they have appointed as Presidental Educator..ie to "inform" the powers that be of Human Rights Violation..

The whole thing is a workaround of the political and social represssion in Cuba..

I think you should translate it as presidential educator..because by using that term this "party" is probably staying within the bounds of what is permissible under existing Cuban law..

Anyway,that's my read

In other words= presidential educator is this gentlemen who has been choosen to inform Fidel Castro of matters relating to human rights et alia in Cuba...

In other words, this term has been Coined...so the human rights people can operate locally..and they have appointed this person as Presidential Educator..

A very clever way to go about pushing the envelope in Cuba re Human Rights, IMO..oooops is that political?....

Again, these questions of yours require parsing of the discourse of the Castro regime and opposition to it..

I have been a long time Lover of Cuban Music and have had many Cuban friends and done a lot of reading about Cuba..

so that\'s why I am familiar with all this..

cuando llegaré, cuando llagaré al bohio...:)

Sorry, I should have written \"provincial delegate\" instead of the correct words in Spanish.
