Hi guys, I'm having a bit of trouble with this phrase, could anyone help me out?
The subject is research, research results, patents, etc.

One of the functions of this research council office is to publicise and promote the "oferta tecnológica" of the institutes. At one point it appears as a heading in the list of services offered by the institute, under which are listed:

Biología y Biomedicina
Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos
Ciencia y Tecnología Físicas y de Materiales
Recursos Naturales

It also appears in this paragraph :

Una vez solicitada la patente, desde este servicio se asesora a los investigadores en la elaboración de la oferta tecnológica y, posteriormente, se difunde a través de diferentes medios para impulsar su comercialización. Uno de ellos es la inclusión de esta oferta tecnológica en nuestra página web.

Any ideas on how this can best be expressed? I'm wondering if I may have to use two different phrases, although for continuity's sake would rather not.

neutral  margaret caulfield: The example you give, Rod, isn't precisely a good translation. If you have a good look at it, it translates "red de I + D" as "I + D network" when this should be "R + D (Research and Development) network".
