...to express the fullest possibilities / strike the deepest chords of human experience... Explanation: Lots of options here... this is my suggestion! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 40 mins (2008-10-05 22:37:31 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Here the word "registro" seems to be like "registering" - an abstract way of saying "feeling" or "experiencing" - but there is also the musical sense of "registro" which is why I like the option of using "chords". I didn't directly translate "mayor capacidad" but its flavor is connoted by the word "fullest". And "realizar" is an abstract way of saying "expressing" or "portraying" - also "achieving" of course but I think a work of art might express or portray more than achieve a feeling or experience. Finally, I didn't interpret "el ser humano" as an *individual* "human being", but rather as the state of human *being* in general - ie, human "existence" or "experience." Other possibilities: "...to portray the deepest depths / the furthest reaches of human emotions/feelings..." |
