Paper / Paper Manufacturing / food wrapping
Spanish term or phrase: papel alimentario
talking about the manufacture of blue cheese (Spain):

una vez finalizado el proceso (de curación), se envuelve el queso en **papel alimentario** y se etiqueta para salir al mercado...

I was thinking of "food parchment", but I'm not too convinced - since the translation is for the trade I don't want to get it wrong.

Many thanks in advance

food-grade wrap or wrapping (material)
Explanation:
It probably refers to paper, but not necessarily.

This manufacturer's website uses "papel alimentario" to encompass waxed paper, laminates, cling film and aluminum foil (see heading at top of page):
http://www.papelplast.com/productos/papel_ali.htm

This one uses it to refer only to paper, but the paper can be coated with wax or plastic film (or even aluminum):
http://www.lisartindustrial.com/productos/index.asp

It MAY be parchment-type wrap, but I don't think you can say that unless you know for sure. I think I would go for a more generic name, such as what I've proposed:

Use only food grade bags and containers for food storage. Only ***food grade wrap*** (wax paper, plastic wrap, parchment paper, etc.).

Are your products covered with ***food grade wrapping*** to prevent environmental contamination?

Where products are individually wrapped, ***food grade wrapping material*** on which the mark of approval is printed or a label, printed with such mark, must be used.

cheese paper / cheese wrap

Explanation:
There are specific terms for the paper used to wrap cheese. "Cheese paper" refers exclusively to the outer layer, while "cheese wrap" refers to any and all layers (usually 1-3) that may be involved.
