albergue shelter Explanation: Dictionary of Health Related Terms: English - Spanish (A publication of Health Initiative of the Americas UC Berkeley, School of Public Health) "shelter - refugio, albergue" https://hiaucb.files.wordpress.com/2014/03/dictionary-2011_e... "Albergue Las Memorias TB: A shelter to care for and cure marginalized TB patients in Baja California " https://www.matchinggrants.org/global/pdf/doc1583-1712.pdf Tuberculosis in native- and foreign-born populations in Portugal (summary in both English and Spanish) "They were also more likely to be human immunodeficiency virus positive, to be employed and to be homeless/living in shelters...En las personas de este grupo se observaron ma´s casos de positividad frente al virus de la inmunodeficiencia humana, una mayor tasa de empleo y la TB se asoci´o con la carencia de hogar y la residencia en albergues. https://core.ac.uk/download/pdf/162558165.pdf "The “Albergue de los Ángeles”, a shelter home for the children with cancer and their families..." https://www.friendsofguatemalainc.org/who-we-are "HOUSING-SHELTER/VIVIENDA-ALBERGUE" https://www.co.davidson.nc.us/DocumentCenter/View/157/Commun... "The social workers will try and address the possibility of income, if no income, social services will offer either a hostel (which is paid by the service), or a “albergue” which is a specific sheltered accommodation run by either private NGOs, or by the town hall." http://www.smes-europa.org/D-&-W_profiles-EN.htm At first I thought that these were more like a hospice, but all the references I find point to them being shelters. Some just house people with TB, some just house those with HIV, but as a fair number of people with HIV also have TB, they often house people with both conditions. |

residential treatment Explanation: Or perhaps, more wordily: "the management of residential treatment centers" (if you want to make it clear that the person in question is responsible for the physical facilities where treatment is being provided, and not for the treatment itself). In context, the term would seem to refer to "residential treatment." In any event, I don't see where "training in lodging houses" or training in shelter" really works as a translation here. -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 3 hrs (2021-04-22 12:10:38 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Or, perhaps more fitting: "rehabilitation [center]" or "convelescence [center]" |
