Hi, I would appreciate your help with this term.

I have seen pivot in mathematics, specifically in matrices. but I do not know how to express "pivote multiplicativo". This also refers to matrices but in the context of transport models.

Context (I ave included the previous paragraph too):
"Es importante mencionar que el modelo de generación no es adecuado para simular el comportamiento de los flujos de comercio a nivel mundial, o los bienes importados y exportados por puertos marítimos, los cuales se incorporarán al modelo como datos externos asignados a las zonas portuarias o aeroportuarias.

....Una vez finalizados los cálculos descritos en las etapas anteriores, se aplicará un factor pivote en las producciones y las atracciones base, o sea, en los valores observados de las producciones y atracciones en el año base, con el que se obtendrá como resultado que:

• En la situación actual el factor mantendrá el 100% en las producciones y atracciones observadas.
• En la situación proyectada para los diferentes escenarios macro que se consideren a futuro, el factor multiplica las producciones y atracciones observadas por las estimaciones calculadas entre las producciones/atracciones sintéticas actuales y las previstas del escenario correspondiente.
