This is my current translation. Can anyone improve it a little?

I insist on hard data when it comes to HSE performance documentation.

Explanation:
Kimberlee-- slightly outside my field of specialisation, but by "insisto en..." I wonder if you understand something a bit closer to "I place an emphasis on..."? ("Insist" would mean something like "I require".) Also, for me, "hard data" means something like "raw data" rather than *reliable* data, which may be closer to the meaning here. Would be interested to see what others think.

Asker: What about "keep a record of" or "keep records of". I also like your suggestion of "place an emphasis on"

Asker: Sorry - I meant to say this - "I try to place an emphasis" or "I try to make an effort" to get reliable information/data when it comes to HSE performance documentation.
