Juan Migoya has already given a correct translation of this phrase to two2tango in the field of engineering; however, here it is the context of a commercial credit arrangement, specifically a loan from a bank.

Ambas operaciones fueron financiadas por el US ABC Bank mediante un único préstamo a nombre de ambas compañías y por un importe total de 27 MM usd. En las escrituras de hipoteca no re recoge una distribucion de cargas.

Of course, "carga" in isolation has several translations; however, what does it mean in this context?

That is, there is nothing showing what one company owes and what the other one owes.

That's my read on it.
