Hi,

I am translating a newspaper article from Spanish to British English about a High Court rejecting a workforce reduction plan because it believed that the company was not negotiating in good faith in the consultation period. Below is the full sentence in which the phrase appears. It is an extract from the Court's ruling in which the Court explains why it believes that the company was not displaying good faith in its negotiations:

"El Tribunal estima en la sentencia que 'no hubo una negociación de buena fe por parte de la empresa que inició el periodo de consultas con la firme e inquebrantable voluntad de no alterar las pretensiones contenidas en el inicio del procedimiento por despido, y de que estas se ajustaran a los mínimos legales con el menor coste posible,...'"
