Explanation:
I think this refers to days that an employee is entitled to take off but chooses not to. Like any other leave entitlement, there leave would expire after certain period but it may be agreed with the employer to carry these days to the next term. BE CAREFUL though because if this refers to specific indemnity (i.e due to work accidents, illness, etc) you need to check thoroughly the context of the whole document.
