"SG concedió los 17 puntos del pliego petitorio de los maestros incluida su solicitud central de rezonificación de todos los trabajadores de la educación para subir salarios."

The "rezonificacion" appears to mean putting the teachers into a higher pay scale, but I'm just saying they are asking for a salary increase. Any better ideas?

"Y sobre la demanda de rezonificacion si significa a final de cuentas un aumento de salario pero tiene que ver la division geografica que existe en oaxaca. Osea, que algunos profesores de cierto lugar ganan de acuerdo al nivel de ingreso de dicha ciudad, por ejemplo, los de la capital y zonas turisticas ganan mas que los de la sierra, etc..."
