Spanish term or phrase: realizado (IN THIS CONTEXT)
This is from an employee evaluation form, where the employee has given his opinion on one of the company's programs for employees:

CONTEXT: "El desarrollo del empleado es fundamental para la satisfacción personal en el entorno laboral, sin un buen desarrollo profesional, el empleado ***se siente poco realizado***."

I know what it means, but my tortured brain is having problems coming up with a colloquial way of saying the same thing in English!

el empleado se siente poco realizado.
an employee feels unfulfilled.

Explanation:
I really think that the negative is much more natural here, as it often is when translating *poco* = adjective.

Suerte.

sense of accomplishment

Explanation:
I hope this may help. The actual wording of the solution can vary, but the idea is to translate within a broader context of ideas and break the chains that words impose upon us to arrive at a free and natural translation:

El desarrollo del empleado es fundamental para la satisfacción personal en el entorno laboral, sin un buen desarrollo profesional, el empleado se siente poco realizado.

Employee development is fundamental to personal satisfaction in employment. Without good professional development, an employee does not have much sense of accomplishment.

Perhaps a semicolon could be used, but I have preferred to break it up into two short sentences.

By the way, "thinking outside the box" can considerably decrease brain torture!

agree  jmf: I would go with this option. Other variations: employees "lack a.." or "feel little" sense of accomplishment.
