Synopsis:
Captain Pantaleon Pantoja, an outstanding, exemplary, happily married army man, is commissioned to organize The Visitors Service, an ambulatory prostitute system created to placate the sexual needs of soldiers assigned to distant posts in the Amazon Jungle. Pantaleon carries out this mission with obsessive efficiency and it becomes a resounding success. The appearance in his life of La Colombiana; a subduing mysterious woman; and becoming the victim of extortion by "El Sinchi"; and influential and corrupt journalists; muddle Captain Pantaleon Pantoja's objectives and mark the beginning of many conflicts that outline the story.

social worker

Explanation:
If followed by "social" it's "social worker", if not then it may be so understood, or maybe not. And if there is no more context you might be stumped.

Results 1 - 10 of about 554 for "visitadora social".

Midwife

Explanation:
I don´t want to add more trouble to the discussion, but midwives are also considered as "visitadoras", at least in Spain.
They call on a couple of times after you´ve had the baby to make sure everything is fine.
Just an option :-)
