The context: El contrato establece de que el empleado debe respetar un período de preaviso de 15 días en el supuesto de extinción del contrato de trabajo. Si no respeta dicho preaviso, la Compañía suele descontar de la liquidación que le pudiera corresponder la cantidad equivalente a los días no preavisados.
My version so far (minus the last part):
The contract stipulates that if an employee wishes to give in his notice, he must do so 15 days in advance. If the employee does not give a full 15 days' notice, when the Company issues the employee's final pay cheque, it normally deducts ..??
