in line with expedient/practical criteria Explanation: I've seen "oportunidad" to mean "expedience/expediency" so perhaps something along the lines of: in line with expedient criteria such as the products being multifunctional, vandal proof and maintenance free. Alternatively, perhaps the more natural-sounding (if slightly freer) option of "practical criteria" would work. |

under/in/by... criteria of convenience Explanation: Convenience: fitness or suitability for performing an action or fulfilling a requirement. 2. a : something (as an appliance, device, or service) conducive to comfort or ease ... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2013-05-30 06:26:04 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- That's the meaning; the problem will be how to fit it into the sentence so that it sounds less naff. Perhaps "...with convenient features such as multifunctionality..." (cringe) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2013-05-30 06:26:22 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "wit multifunctionality features such as..." -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 7 hrs (2013-05-30 06:27:19 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- "criteria de oportunidad" -> "convenient features" -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 hrs (2013-05-30 12:13:03 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Pax Amy: "and other practical features such as...". The more I look at it, the less I'm liking "criteria" for this. They are really talking about features or characteristics of the "mobiliario urbano"... -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 13 hrs (2013-05-30 12:15:25 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- PS: Am not keen on "in line with" as proposed below either, not sure why, perhaps to avoid clashing with "línea de mobiliario...". |
