bedstead/bed frame for sprung mattress Explanation: I had to translate a bedroom furniture catalogue once (empathy!) and I asked the customer what the "bañera" was and he said, "translate the same as bancada" (I wasn't much the wiser!) However, the "bañera" just seems to be the bed frame, which supports a mattress. Examples (first English, second Spanish) in the links below.
