learn how to Explanation: I'd rephrase this. "Adopt" would be the literal translation (I definitely think you should be using verbs, not nouns, in English), but do we talk about people "adopting good behaviour"? I'd just look for the best verb for each item in the list: By receiving education through sport and participating in the various activities, the children and young people learn how to behave / improve their behaviour, adopt values, improve their skills and broaden their horizons / push out their boundaries. |

maturation Explanation: This fits in context. The program is designed to help the young student grow out of self-damaging behaviors and behave in a socially adaptive way. |

appropiation Explanation: Early Years Let kids be kids www.ocfamily.com/t-earlyyears_3yearchildren_0705.aspxShareT... perception leads, logically, to their appropriation of behaviors seen as “adult” drinking, profanity, sexual sophistication, talking fast and thinking not much at . |

asunción (y mejora) develop (and improve) Explanation: My problem here is with “asunción y mejora” in relation to “comportamientos, valores, capacidades y límites”; I would use “develop” alone to cover “asunción y mejora” for “comportamientos, valores y capacidades”, but this doesn’t work for “limitations” (as you wouldn’t really want to “develop” your “limitations”), so I think I’d use “improve” for that. See below, cheers :) Example sentence(s):
