Hi Dariusz, kindest regards to you too:) Perhaps our differences reflect the fact that you live in the US of A and I live in GB:) No problem and no hard feelings. Just the way it is.
Due to the nature of my work and academic background, I deal with educational documents (course descriptions among them) on a daily basis. That's my response to your comment. We can exchange verbal volleys forever, and I guess we will both firmly defend our views. And yes, the subject has been exhausted. My kindest regards.
@Dariusz. There is a plethora of academic sites on this subject using "teaching", "learning", and "didactic" as bona fide terms. So, I don't know what you have been reading:) Cheers. I think we have exhausted this subject now.
I agree that providing a non-English native site as a reference is not the best idea, and I almost never do it. However, in some cases, it's OK. For example, I found a good English translation of the Polish term automatyka [control engineering] at the University of Gdansk's (Poland) website. Anyway, here I suggested a term that is widely used in US educational contexts, especially in course titles. "Didactic(s)" (like "pedagogy", "logopaedics" etc.) is not used in the US at all, and I've never seen it in British documents, either. Again, in my humble opinion, "teaching" is too narrow and does not fully reflect the content of the course.
@Dariusz. I think we may have flogged this one to death. However, from my own point of view, I always use native English sites for terminology searches. I try to avoid quoting non-English native sites. Were I suggesting a translation into Spanish (on the rare occasion I do) I endeavour to quote Spanish/Latin American sites.

Some Spanish universities DO use the term "educational foundations of speech therapy", so my suggestion is not definitely way off, and as such it does not deserve a "disagree" comment.
How do we know that this translation is for Europe? The asker did not specify the target market. As far as didactica is concerned, in the US this term is most commonly translated as teaching and learning, as "didactica", aside from teaching, deals directly with the learning process. Again, I proposed "educational foundations" due to a very broad range of topics covered by the course. Greetings from the Big Apple. Dariusz Saczuk.
Dariusz: I agree with you the term “didactic” is not used in US at least for the experience that I have personally. But this translation is for Europe. And in some teaching careers, the future teachers study the disciplines “Didáctica 1”, Didáctica 2”. These disciplines include the didactic principles. This term “educational” that you used is not bad, but it is more generic. From my side, I appreciate a lot the efforts that you put in this case and all your explanations. Thank you. Domingo Trassens
I know very well what the word "didáctica" means. "Didactic", however is barely used in educational contexts, at least in the US. Also, as can be seen above, the course does not only deal with teaching, but it also covers a range of education-related issues. Teaching is of course a major component of education, but not the only one. It is your right to disagree with me, and I respect it. However, it's also my right to have a different opinion. No hard feelings.

Based on my analysis of a couple of websites, the course "Bases didácticas de la intervención logopédica" covers a range of educational issues, not only "teaching methods". That's why I opted to post a suggestion with a broader scope and meaning.
Please, could you give us more context? Could you explain a little about this document? Thank you. Domingo Trassens
