I realize there are a zillion answers for "Asistencia", but given the ambiguity of the term (primarily "attendance" but can mean "assistance") I would like to get reactions to my contect.
The document is a course description for an outfit entitled "UNIACC -- Universidad de Artes, Ciencias et Communicaciones" -- country not given. The heading is "Ciclo de Formación General, Facultad de Arte, Arquitectura y Diseño / Carrera de Artes Visuales y Fotogafía/Asignature (13): Historia del Arte, La Arquitectura y el Diseñno I, Nivel I (1° Semestre 2007), Horas Pedagogicas Semestrales: 48, Horas Horas Pedagogicas Semanales 43, Requisitos: Ingreso, Asistencia: 75%

Everything is clear to me except for "Asistencia 75%" in this context. Can it mean that only 75% attendance is required? Or could it refer to financial aid, even though I know other terms are in use for this and it seems unlikely in what appears to be a private university. Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
