Spanish term or phrase: Aula de Grado
O Martes 1 de Xullo celebrouse na Aula de Grado da Escola a entrega de premios do “I CONCURSO FOTOGRAFICO

This is from the orginial text, which is in Galician. The term is exactly the same in Spanish, and I use it every day at the University, but - What exactly is it in English? Is it "Degree Hall". It's not the main hall, and it's not a lecture room. Anyone got any good ideas, or, better still, the exact translation to English?

Thanks. I guess it's one of those terms that doesn't have a direct translation.

agree  translatol: A good solution. The more usual form is 'aula de grados' (see Google), and I've always assumed it was called that because it's the room/hall where degrees are handed out - but I could be wrong.
