after-school club Explanation: in this case, as it refers to after classes finish. There are also, "before-school/breakfast clubs" But breakfast clubs are normally more geared to ensuring kids get a decent breakfast than to acting as a child-minder There are also, "out-of-school clubs", but these seem to be literally that: ie, unlike after-school clubs, not on school premises |
