No sé en cuanto está fijada ahora la UT porque esta varía cada cierto tiempo. (Es una forma de lidiar con la inflación a los efectos de impuestos, tarifas por servicios públicos, como este caso... etc.)

Se usa mucho. Quizás en Venezuela quiera decir lo mismo y utilicen Unidad Tributaria
