Estoy traduciendo el currículum de una filóloga, catedrática, ex vicerrectora académica, ex rectora de la Universidad, ex presidenta de varias organizaciones centroamericanas... casi al final menciona algunas distinciones, entre ellas, una beca otorgada por el gobierno de Francia... ahora mi duda es, descarté una "scholarship", entonces sería esto una "grant" o viene a ser un "fellowship". No estoy segura de la categoría, si hay diferencia. No cuento con mucho contexto, solo dice "Beca otorgada por el Gobierno de Francia".

Gracias a todos por sus aportes. Entre quienes apoyaron la opción de Ruth tuve dudas si se referían a "Fellowship" o "Scholarship", pero como a mí "Scholarship" me sigue dando idea de un grado menor, me quedo con "Fellowship" en este caso.

a mi entender el grant es dinero que se recibe que ha de ser usado (en este caso con fines academicos) o sea puede ser dinero para la educacion el pasaje y la estadia.
Scholarship es una beca estrictamente academica, o sea estudio sin costo.
y fellowship a mi entender es una pasantia (que puede ser paga o no)
