Es una actividad que se realiza en las escuelas y colegios en Guatemala, la cual se empieza con el himno nacional y luego se presenta un "acto" (valga la redundancia) el cual puede ser una obra de teatro (representada por algunos estudiantes) o bien se trata de algún tema en especial.

Sometimes they are used to present cultural activities, too. If the civic part is the important element, they are often called civic assemblies.
