imagination to the power Explanation: Its meaning, as closely as I can put it, is "put imagination to the power", that is, "make imagination rule everything else". Example sentence(s):

the transcendence of (the) imagination Explanation: To make "good copy", I offer the above suggestion and two more below that avoid a prosaic translation but play with synonyms or attributes of power. I chose transcendence based on the definition: transcendence - the state of excelling or surpassing or going beyond usual limits (http://www.thefreedictionary.com/transcendence). Other suggestions would be: the gift of imagination or the power of imagination. |

Natalia... or imagination empowered/the realm of imagination Explanation: It is taken from the slogan used by the French students during the Parisian revolts of May '68. Sartre used it in articles, and it became a slogan for many in the left. None of the translations I can think convey the precise idea of having imagination take over power (of states). It has the same intent as "such and such for President" only "imagination for President" or "empower imagination" sounds so outlandish it is almost laughable. In any case, in the context of your sentence, the author is trying to define the artist's work by saying that it is ruled by imagination. Hope it helps.
