Hypothesis is used incorrectly, isn't it?

"El análisis de la situación de los hallazgos, permite establecer la hipótesis de que los restos de la Plaza del Foro Romano Imperial de Valentia, se encuentran situados a una profundidad de entre 3,40 y 3,90 m, y conforman un plano, con pendiente al menos **a dos aguas**, que parte desde el borde Este de la Basílica, es decir desde la Calle de la Leña, transcurriendo por debajo de ella, en su tercio Norte, con una pendiente aproximada del 1,6%, ascendiendo hacia el Oeste, hasta llegar a la vertical de la fachada de la Basílica a la Plaza de la Virgen, y desde allí, lo mas probable es que se adentre en el subsuelo de la actual Plaza de la Virgen, hacia el Oeste, al menos otros 30 metros desde la Fachada de la Basílica, con pendiente descendente, también del 1,6%."

with two slopes


Explanation:
This is a sheet guess because I only have this phrase in the sense of a gabled roof, but because it talks about pendiente, perhaps it means that the plane has at least two slopes...
