I'm working on a text right now in which "acopio" appear to refer to harvesting, or more specifically, sheaving. In the question here, "acopio" has to refer to something other than storage. In the agricultural sense, I think "acopio" must mean "sheaving," but that's not a common term and it's usually included under the concept of harvesting.
