I know that the correct expression is "in reord time" but if I add "in a record tiem of only 3 weeks" is that correct? I don't think it sounds natural.....

in record time --just three weeks
Explanation:
No me suena "a" record time...

If using "of" then it should be "a record time of". Otherwise, the option with commas or dash. It's up to you. I do not like much the first option but my sources confirm it is correct.

in an all-time 3-week record

Explanation:
I wonder if the "all-time" makes up for the "just" and if this construction is actually correct.

Example: an all-time weekly spending record (http://www.webmasterworld.com/forum22/519.htm)

neutral  Caroline Clarke: hello, you're right, this is not the same construction. this implies that the amount spent per week is compared every week, and this particular week was a record-breaker, so not the same idea.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ANSEWRING MY QUESTION!
Notes to answerer
Asker: does it sound natural to you "in record time OF only three weeks"? or is it more natural "in record time, just three weeks,...."

Asker: THANKS! I THINK THIS IS THE CORRECT TRANSLATION....THE FIRST OPTION "IN RECORD TIME OF ONLY THREE WEEKS" SOUNDS WORDY AND LITERAL. THANKS AGAIN!
