No estoy seguro de como traducir "especial" en este contexto. Se trata de un estudio de Marketing en el que se dedican apartados "especiales" a los efectos de distintas variables, y así tenemos, entre otros, los siguientes apartados:

Especial Eurocopa
Especial Huelga de Transportistas
Especial Efecto Lluvia
Especial Crisis

Todo esto lo estoy traduciendo como "special". Euro Cup Special. Trucker's Strike Special. Rainfall Special. Crisis Special.

En español es bastante habitual este tipo de expresión, he visto que en inglés también existe, pero no se hasta que punto o si es correcto para este contexto.

I just have the American phrase "Rainy Day Special" in my head, because it's used a lot in the context of Sales & Marketing. The phrase "rainy day" in English is popular and positive sounding (maybe because it sort of rhymes) - whereas "rainstorm" can sound a bid negative or ominous (maybe that's why it sent shivers down your spine?).


"One of our more popular specials is the rainy day special. So, when it rains or is even gloomy outside you can show up in your pajamas and receive 20% off..."
