Spanish term or phrase: El modelo no detecta caídas ni subidas

"The model does not detect any significant drops ( nor rises due to excess buying when people learned about the coming Strike) in Sales for that cause."

The model does not reflect decreases (nor increases ...
Explanation:
"The model does not reflect significant decreases (nor increases due to excess puchasing when people learned about the upcoming strike) in sales caused by this." Ojo con las mayusculas.

As Daniel mentioned, I would also consider omitting the "caused by this" if there is no previous refence outside of this sentence-

Muchas gracias.

The model does not detect significant falls (or rises...

Explanation:
As in the famous book "The rise and fall of the Roman Empire".

"nor" is not used here. It is mainly used with "neither", for instance: "the model detects neither significant drops nor rises" would be correct. Here are some notes about the use of "nor":

The model is unable to detect any significant drops (or peaks/surges

Explanation:

"For that reason, the model is unable to/cannot detect any significant drops (or peaks/surges....

My 2 cents...
