This is one of the items under the "Description" heading in a spreadsheet from a Mexican insurance/reinsurance company showing the cost of non-proportional coverage.
It appears directly below COSTO DE COBERT. NO P (which must be cost of non proportional coverage) and it is unclear from the spreadsheet whether this is actually one item together (COSTO DE COBERT. NO P A INST. DEL EXT. POR SEG. DIRECTO) or if they are two different items, although I am leaning towards them being one item, as otherwise it doesn't make much sense. (There is an amount listed for each one, but it is the same amount.) My problem is with the "inst." abbreviation - I believe the rest would be "for direct insurance extension" or some such. I think it may be INSTITUCIÓN (as in institución de seguros, which appears a lot in the text), but when I see A INST DE I immediately think of a instancias de, but I'm not sure that makes sense either, nor how I would render it in English. Thanks in advance for any light you may be able to shed on the matter!

Me parece bien tu opción. A non proportional le pondría "non-proportional (reinsurance) coverage"
